Augen Optics Labs

Located along the pacific highway a 100 km south of the Tijuana / San Diego border, the program for Augen Optics headquarters includes high-tech research laboratories, administrative offices and a cafeteria. The new construction was built in front of the existing glassware factory. The metal cilinder structure an V culumns are both able to absorb the constant teluric movements proper to the zone. Reminiscent of the giaint oil depos along the highway the building is landmark to the traveller as he approaches the town-port of Ensenada.
