The barrier of language can sometimes yield a different kind of understanding. During a first visit to the site in the district of Pokou, the mind of the architect echoes the idea of a larger lake and sets the house floating on water. Raised on pilars above the waterline a boat-like structure floats on the shore overlooking the site. The land remains untouched, filled with emptiness and contemplation. Pedro Rosenblueth
